Totally against the project ...I was watchin a couple of months ago wat a simular floatin island did 2 the shores of dubai ...it completely changed the recycling process that the sea usually do ( i dont know how 2 explain that right ),but the bottom lane is its bad ,real bad for a whole lot of reasons i dont know how 2 explain

We cant compete with Dubai in reality. This project is a copy cat of the Palms, they even copied the outer circle, hell even the roads leading to the island have the same angle!

Isn't this project funded by foreigners? And if so, why would they care about electricity and water and debts in Lebanon? They just want to make some profit, it's not their job to worry about Lebanese infrastructure.

Its a nice project , and it looks very promising !
However , i really feel that these projects dont serve any society very well . Such " Mega " projects , should be applied , when society has the basics secured and when the society is running very well .
What i mean is , we Arabs , in the Middle East , need more projects that will generate steady income , create jobs , and elevate the country to become a producer not only a consumer !
We need more factories , more schools , hospitals , etc .. we need to fix our laws , our infrastructure , our way of thinking ... !!
too many real estate development projects will make any country very fragile , when other sectors and fields are not given the same level of support and investment !
