Wish we could help you out on this one but not all of us are attending on Saturday...

Having this topic might get a few attending members' attention. They might
pop in offering to meet up with you.

I for one have never been alone around Beirut. I would recommend you
going on to Hamra Street (plenty of shops to keep you busy) There're also
many bookshops with a decent collection of books to check out in the same
street. Go watch a movie then maybe wander around in Virgin then it'd
be late enough. Go eat something light and hit the venue for the gig.

(I'm no great help in this, I haven't been home in 5 years but good luck
It's Beirut man, you won't get bored)

Did you consider sleeping and resting before the big gig ?



ps. I advice those who can make it not to miss out on this one.. plenty of surprises!! *wink*wink*

ppl consider urself lost in beirut wut would u do ??

Personally I would get a cab, and go spend my afternoon at the beach, somewhere in southern or northern Beirut. I would pass by Gemayze in the evening (its way better than at night), probably to one of those small cozy pubs where u can easily socialize like Torino, Godot, Dragonfly etc. Then I would also advice u walking around Bliss Street, Hamra Street, downtown, the city has an unusual character that u could enjoy.
Of course, try to be really wasted while doin all that, try meeting Selfish
enjoy!

well if you arrive at 2, go to downtown, visit the shops there, have lunch at any place, so many good places there, Linas - TGI etc.. do some shopping but dont spend too much money there, keep some for the water at the gig:P ..

you can later on go to gemayze, berlin opens at 7, grab a drink *TEENK* its 9.. go to forum de beirut, buy your ticket .. hang out there looking for some THers, ENJOY your night !!
