^ Yea, but im with you expanding your taste if you want. Try different techno and see what reaction you get from different taste. You have minima, dub, detroit techno, acid techno, berlin techno, etc.

Hated all of them LOL! I'm not sure which one exactly the likes of Joris Voorn fall under, but I am positive that I am into some form of techno out there.

Like I said, I'm looking for the groove, energy, and melody (if any).

MPX309 seems to be a very good example for the above requirements without the melody.
