Hotels? Restaurants? and "so forth"?

Restaurants are included in the places which need to close down early I think.

Hotels are filled with WHOM? Did you even dare to think before writing this down?
Hotels are filled with TOURISTS? Who come to Lebanon for WHAT? For the BANKS? I truly don't think so.
Tourists come for the night life and entertainment in general, regardless of the small portion of them who still come here to see the remnants of Baalbeck and Sidon!

And please let me know about those so forth. Because imo, i think they are THE NIGHT CLUBS AND PUBS.

So, now that we've established that your argument was to prove even more what an important sector the night life and entertainment in Lebanon is, do you really think it will not affect the economy?

Just take a very simple example!
ZWZ! Can you imagine the losses incorporated if ZWZ closes at 1:00 am!?
Which will affect other institutions and suppliers ZWZ deals with.. and "so forth..."

and this is JUST one restaurant out of many. You think that the impact is not that substantial. But we're a VERY small country, and minimal changes such as these will have their significant effects.

I am not against change. But i am against silly meaningless decisions.

Oke heres my two cents on this issue:

Its not a matter of civilization more than a matter of organization.
Let me explain before you start bashing.
Pubs/clubs license state that the pub/club should have a sound proof shell..
How do i know ? Because my family owned what is now The Temple in sin l fil.
Now most of these pubs/clubs have this sound proof shell, example Gauche Caviar, where inside the sound is high, outside you hear nothing.

So my end point is and im sorry for all the civilized minds CLOSING AT 1 OR 2 IS NOT CIVILIZATION

Why you ask?
Because for simple reasons, when you walk down the street of gemmayze at night, you dont hear music...you hear honking, and car engines all night, because the street is flooded with cars.
This is the main issue bothering the neighbors and not the pubs sound.
Now traffic management is Civilization...Why?
Every single day they dig a new hole, change road ways, cause more fucken traffic everywhere. If Gemmayze roads where blocked so that no car enters except if they are residents, then that will solve the fucken issue and the inhabitants can stop nagging.

For those who claim closing down nightlife is a way of making it more civilized then im sorry but its wrong on so many levels.
Civilization is by organization and order, and not by limiting nightlife, im sorry its not the way the world works.

Closing a pub at 2 in the morning was never part of civilization, but following rules and norms was!

Please change these concepts, that way maybe you can see the cup as half full instead of half empty...

and sorry mate but other countries are developed and all that shit, doesnt mean they have to close everything at 2, its plain idiotic because some people depend on their night clubs and pubs to generate a living , limiting it to 2 am is limiting their income, thus limiting also the pleasure of those who want to have fun.

Its not civilization... If you want to limit drunk idiots, then limit drinks that can be given at a bar, or just dont sell alcohol after 3... point, just dont close the clubs...its not smart at all im sorry, its not a way to solve chaos...


And one other thing that should stop, is comparing Lebanon to other countries...im sorry but fuck other societies, they are not as life loving as we are, period, if they want to close their shit at 2 then they cant make the whole world close at 2... it doesnt work this way...
