The Jews can't be that lucky, first stealing someone else's land and then finding Gas deposit too..
I hope the range falls inside the Lebanese territory but even if that's true Israel will manage to steal from the opposite side anyway, and no one should think Lebanon will get rich from that, it's only the so called 'leaders' and their groupies that will.

[IN]Head-Kay and e-sam, refining oil is a process Lebanon can not afford, hell even Iran is facing trouble making Benzine out of Oil that they are importing it.
If anything Lebanese oil if found will be exported to nearby countries that already achieved that, guess which dear country will the pipelines pass by?

Its a bit frustrating, the gas thing, because you just know that half of that at least is in Lebanese territories. We cant do much about that though, the Israelis will most probably claim it all while we'll still be fighting amongst ourselves about the procedure to act to that sort of thing. By the time we would have made our minds up, the Israelis will already have build all the equipment for extracting the gas and transferring it to Haifa. And we'll just add that to our portfolio of things that shouldve been ours, and will one day talk about so fondly, just like you hear your elderly speak these days about this and that.

I personally think those megaproject should be avoided in this country, I mean the dbayeh marina project was economically a failure, and a disaster environmentally. I don’t see how a giant cedar is a better idea. The 10 star hotel ain’t a better project either, I see it more as a power show-off, it reminds me of the Ryugyong hotel in North Korea..
If only investors could invest into more beneficial projects like power plants, parks or railways…

Yea but everybody knows that alot of these investments are just laundered money that has to be invested somewhere. Dubai was that place for a long time, now that its facing difficulties and were doing reasonably okay then it makes sense for some of these investments to make way here. But that cedar thing is just hilarious, and its a copy of the Palms, so its not an authentic idea. Somethings shouldnt be changed, Dubai should be the only place for these dreamy projects and thats final
