Raneem, other people in the thread mentioned politics by saying that this law only aims to help some people in next elections because it is only applied in some areas, something which isnt totally accurate.

Silver_edge, no Im not affiliated to any party THANK GOD and although I have my political views like all other members here, whatever it is, I am not here to spread it! And mentioning Hariri isnt talking about a political figure, it is talking about an inspirational leader in all fields apart from politics. Fields like economy and education and so. I merely said that if it wasnt for the changes he started, people like Baroud probably wouldnt have the chance to continue the path towards a proper civil state. I dont care about internal politics, I care about the well being of the country and its path of progression to become a free civil state where the rights of its citizens are respected and honored like any other civil country in the 21st century. But I guess some people find that offensive!

How can u deny that ur talking politics? U r making a very subjective matter look like a fact

I mean what u call “progression” might be seen by many as “corruption”.

I can publicly say that I appreciate and back most of hariri’s work, but I still believe that many of his intentions are ethically debatable… It is a bit naïf to idolize him like that, u should look at politicians in a more critical approach..

I say bye bye to this topic because it took an expected turn to the worst. We all have our opinions and political point of views and I have mine which says that every single person who was in charge of this country acted like a blood-thirsty succubus.
