remember when armin played the drill-the drill in lebanon?

I follow Armin's moto: instead of sticking to trance, stick to any good dance music that is worth being played

I remember when he said that in an interview back a few years ago!

if you want to lecture me on how cheesy is that track, Lebos are the ones who made it cheesy by overplaying (7alabouwa!!)

while abroad, it's still acceptable to play such a house track, even in the world's number 1 DJ's set

Johnny..u should give Monty a visit and see how much Rise Up is "milked" also..It's not about Lebanese people..It's about the song itself..Yes it's good and happy..but never expected Armin to play it

I think some DJs abuse what is called diversity in a set. And yea, i never expected Armin to play this track. Diversity is, sometimes, cool.

But for me a Trance gig should be about Trance (all its subs). I don't see concerts of Classical music play other genres like Jazz... The last event i attended, in Warsaw, had 5 to 6 hours of non-stop Uplifting (only 5 tech tracks were played during this time), maybe even more than 6 hours cuz when i left there were 2 more DJs in the line-up (Bart Claessen played tech but maybe after him Tiddey played more melodic). And no one got bored.

So should i expect Armin to play Linkin Park and U2 remixes in his events? *smashes head on wall*

Diversity is one thing, CHEESE is another. This is not acceptable from Armin, just as The Drill wasn't. Just because he's Armin and the #1 DJ in the world makes it OK to play cheese? Fuck no.

Kamil - Have you heard Linkin Park - Numb (HeartBeat Remix) , its great ! It doesnt mean that if a rock/rnb/classical track was remixed then it is cheese no fucken way ! it could be insane...

But i mean playing Rise up is another deal, it has been milked so damn much... most probably Armin was playing to a bunch of ignorant people so he played that track and they say WOOOHOW we know this!
